SUCCESSFUL FINALE ON GT2 EUROPEAN SERIES
The final races were waiting for the driver last weekend on the circuit known from the Formula 1 Championship. Jara Jirik took a portion of 27 points from the race weekend in the GT2 Europe series, where the competition in the starting field increased compared to Spa.
This time, again with the Lamborghini of the Target Racing team, he shared a racing seat with the Chinese driver Huilin Han. According to the time schedule, the qualifying session took place almost at night and Jara Jirik managed to secure the third best time in the class.
The start of the first race was a sign of certainty, although it was clear that the nr. 32 Lamborghini is slightly on top of the opponent in front. Jara Jirik kept his starting position until the finish and in the meantime there was a small contact with Brabham driver Andersen, whom he successfully resisted. The crew reached the bronze trophy and the second race of the weekend was waiting for them.
The second race was started in the evening and got a charge of endurance racing. In the first turn after the start, there was a drama between the surrounding opponents, which did not have a negative effect on the dark lamborghini driver. The crew won fourth place in the class and successfully closed this season in this series.
Jara Jirik continues with the endurance race of the Italian GT Championship at the end of this month.
