TROPICAL WEEKEND WITH SWEET END

The third round of the sprint races awaited the drivers of the Italian Grand Tourismo Championship on Marco Simoncelli's track at Mugello. Our only representative MUDr. Jaromír Jiřík, who continues to collaborate with the Italian Iron Lynx team he managed to earn two podium placements at the weekend and further consolidate his overall rider ranking.
This circuit belongs to the better known ones for Jara. In the past, he participated in big fights at the 24h Series endurance races or the GT3 European Series. During the racing weekend, the weather was sunny with temperatures of 35°C, and rather than the tire choice tactics, the teams were busy fighting heat on all fronts.
Lamborghini started with race number 134 from the last row. The first kilometers of the race were marked by fighter rides to meet the main competitors. For the rest of the race, the crew of the crew Jiřík / Paolino moved in second place and the Italian driver then brought him safely to the finish.
The second race was more optimistic for the crew. There were similar conditions on the track as in the Saturday program and in the second, no less difficult race, Jára Jiřík crossed the finish line in the third position.
Next event of the Italian GT Championship is held in October after a long pause with the final race at the famous Monza autodrome.
